A CBZ is just comic page images bundled in a ZIP, but without a comic reader app you'd extract it and open pages one by one in a photo viewer. This page opens a CBZ straight into its pages in order, starting from the first. No app install, no upload.
How to use it
- 1Click 'Choose CBZ files' or drop a comics folder onto the page.
- 2Click the CBZ in the grid; the images inside join the viewer in page order and the first page opens right away.
- 3← → to turn pages, wheel or pinch to zoom, F for full screen, Space for auto-advance (slideshow).
How it works
Image files (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF) are picked from the ZIP listing, put in natural page order (2.jpg before 10.jpg), and appended to the viewer list. Each page is inflated only when viewed, so a several-hundred-page file stays light. The same CBZ is expanded only once.
Files are read inside the browser only and never sent anywhere. Close the tab and nothing remains.
Limits
CBR (RAR) and CB7 (7z) aren't supported yet. There's no two-page spread, right-to-left paging, or remembered position. Page order follows file names, so a file with jumbled names may come out of order.
Good for
Checking which volume a CBZ is, a quick read on a PC without a reader app, and bundling scanned comics or reference sheets as CBZ to flip through.
Frequently asked questions
Does CBR work?+
No — RAR isn't supported yet. Extract with a tool such as Bandizip, repack as ZIP, and rename to .cbz.
Pages are out of order.+
Sorting recognizes numbers in file names (01, 02… or 1, 2… 10). Files with no naming pattern need renaming at the source.
Can I convert to PDF?+
Put the expanded pages into the Images to PDF tool to bundle them into one file. Check the order in this viewer first.
