What you make here is a seal-shaped image. It is not the same as an official registered seal (ingam), and it carries no legal force. Use it for document decoration, marking, or design.
Frequently asked questions
Is the name sent to a server?+
No. The seal is drawn inside your browser, so the name never leaves your device. The font file is downloaded once, and the seal image is generated on your device.
Does it support Hanja?+
Yes. Three type styles - Traditional, Myeongjo, and Bold Gothic - support Hanja (the KS X 1001 standard set, which covers most name Hanja). The Hanja font file downloads only when you actually enter Hanja. Batang, Brush, and the casual style are Hangul-only.
Can I use it as a registered seal?+
No. This tool only makes a seal-shaped image; it has nothing to do with official seal registration or legal force.
Is the background transparent?+
Yes. It saves as a transparent-background PNG, so you can place it directly over a document or form.
