How to use it

When it comes in handy
For example, it's handy when you have a downloaded video and a separate subtitle file — a browser's default playback has no way to attach it.
For language study, A-B repeat combined with slower speeds works well.
If a file won't play
Browsers can't decode every codec (old AVI, WMV, and so on). For those files, follow the prompt to the Video Converter and turn them into MP4 — the conversion also happens in your browser.

Are files uploaded to a server?+
No. Playback and subtitle handling run inside your browser, so files never leave your device.
My SMI subtitles look garbled.+
EUC-KR encoding is auto-detected, so most files display fine. If not, the file may use another encoding.
Subtitle timing is off.+
Use the sync buttons (−0.5s / +0.5s) in the subtitle row.
Can it play YouTube links?+
No. YouTube blocks external playback by both policy and technology. Only CORS-enabled HLS (m3u8) streams play here.
