How to use it

- 2Choose the image format (JPG or PNG) and the resolution (72–300 DPI). 150 suits screens, 300 suits print.
- 3Click Convert and download the images, as a ZIP if there are several pages.
When it comes in handy
Post a page on a forum, social network, or messenger that doesn't accept PDFs, or drop a PDF cover into a slide deck as a picture. It's also an easy way to pull a photo out of a scanned PDF at full size.

Choosing format and resolution
Pages full of photos or scans are smaller as JPG; charts and contracts where text and lines must stay crisp look cleaner as PNG. Higher DPI means sharper but larger files: 100–150 for screens and chat, 200–300 for printing or zooming in.
An A4 page at 300 DPI becomes an image about 2,480 pixels wide. Converting dozens of pages at 300 DPI in one go uses a lot of browser memory, so it is safer to extract the pages you need first with the Extract Pages tool.
Good to know
Once converted, text becomes pixels and can't be searched or copied. If you need the text, keep the PDF or run OCR on the image.
Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first, and older PDFs without embedded fonts may render with slightly different typefaces.
