Check a passport or ID photo against the rules before submitting it. Based on the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs passport rules and the ICAO 9303 standard, it automatically checks background, ratio, resolution, and face size and position, and lists what a person must judge, such as expression, glasses, and hair. Photos never leave your device.

When it comes in handy
Avoiding a trip back from the passport office because of the photo, confirming an online visa or ID submission breaks no rules, or double-checking a result from the ID Photo tool.
Even studio photos sometimes have background shadows or a face size outside the range, so a check gives peace of mind.
What is checked automatically
Whether the background is white or neutral and uniform without shadows or objects, whether the ratio is 3.5:4.5, and whether the resolution is sharp enough. The face check (crown-to-chin equivalent to 3.2–3.6 cm, centred) runs in browsers with built-in face detection such as Chrome; elsewhere a guide overlay lets you judge by eye.
Each item is marked pass, warning, fail, or check manually.
It is a reference, not a guarantee
This is a pre-check to reduce the chance of rejection, not a promise of acceptance. Expression (neutral, mouth closed), glasses glare, hair over the eyebrows or face, and whether the photo is under six months old can't be judged automatically, so they are left to the checklist.
The issuing office makes the final decision, and detailed rules differ by country and agency, so read the submission guidance as well.
