Lay text such as 'Confidential' or 'Draft', or a company logo, over every page of a PDF. Choose diagonal, centre, bottom-right, or tiled placement and the opacity, and limit it to certain pages if you like. The original stays untouched, a new PDF is created, and everything runs in your browser.
How to use it

- 3Click Apply and download the watermarked PDF.
When it comes in handy
Mark quotes and proposals sent to partners as 'Confidential', or label review copies 'Draft' so they aren't confused with the final version.
Adding a name or URL to lecture notes or a portfolio PDF to show its source is another common use.
Choosing placement and opacity
Diagonal is the classic mark across the whole page; Tiled repeats the text so it's hard to crop out. Centre and bottom-right are less intrusive and suit source labels.
Opacity defaults low so the body stays readable. Raise it a little to deter copying, keep it low for material people need to read. For logos, a PNG with a transparent background blends in without a rectangular box.
Good to know
The watermark is an element laid over the page, so the original text can still be searched and copied. By the same token, someone with a PDF editor can remove it, so treat it as a label rather than security. If leaks must be prevented, combine it with the Protect tool.
Leave the pages box empty to mark every page, or type '1-3' to mark only those.

No. Processing happens inside your browser and the document never leaves your device.
Can I use a logo image?+
Yes. Choose Image (logo) as the type and upload the file. A transparent PNG looks most natural.
Can I watermark only certain pages?+
Yes. Type them in the pages box like '1-3,5'. Leave it blank for all pages.
Can a watermark be removed later?+
Someone with a PDF editor can remove it. Treat it as a label, and add password protection if you need to prevent leaks.
Is the original PDF changed?+
No. You get a new watermarked PDF; the original stays as it is.
