What you can do

  • Image, audio, and video format conversion
  • Quality and bitrate options
  • Estimated output size and resolution before converting
  • Handles multi-GB files directly from disk

How to use

  1. 1Pick a conversion type (image/audio/video) on the left
  2. 2Upload a file and choose the target format and quality
  3. 3Download the result when conversion finishes

Convert a video into the format you want — MP4, WebM, MOV, and more — and pick low, standard, or high quality, with an estimated size shown before you convert. For long videos, drag on the bar to grab just the part you need, or save audio only as MP3 or M4A. Every conversion runs inside your browser, so the video is never uploaded to a server.

How to use it

  1. 1Select or drag in the video you want to convert.
  2. 2Choose the output format (MP4, WebM, MOV, or audio-only MP3, M4A) and quality.
  3. 3For a long video, turn on 'Convert only a segment' and mark the time range (optional).
  4. 4Download the converted file.

When it comes in handy

For example, it helps when you need to turn a MOV clip from a phone or camera into MP4, which opens easily almost anywhere.

It's also great for cutting one moment out of a long lecture or meeting to share, or pulling just the audio out as MP3 to listen on the go.

Grab just the segment you need

Sometimes you only need 30 seconds out of an hour-long video. Turn on 'Convert only a segment' and a bar appears. Drag to mark the span, then fine-tune the start and end with the handles on each side. Click the bar to jump the video there so you can pick by eye.

Only the selected span is exported as MP4 or GIF, so you don't wait for the whole video to convert.

Pick quality and size

Choose low, standard, or high quality and it shows the estimated size before converting. Pick low to keep it light for sharing, or high to stay close to the original.

Frequently asked questions

Is the video uploaded to a server?+

No. Conversion runs inside your browser, so the video never leaves your device.

Can I export just a segment?+

Yes. Turn on 'Convert only a segment' and drag on the bar to mark the span — only that time range is converted. You can also play the video and use 'Set to current' to grab the start and end points. It's especially handy for pulling a few seconds out of a long video as MP4 or GIF.

Can I extract just the audio?+

Yes. Choose MP3 or M4A as the output format to pull only the audio out of the video.

Why is the first run a bit slow?+

It downloads what it needs for video conversion once on first use. After that it runs faster.
