Fix or delete text in a PDF. By default it covers the wrong part with a box and places new text on top; turn on 'true delete' and that page is flattened to an image, actually removing the original text (no longer copyable or searchable) — that page just can't have its text selected anymore. Great for correcting dates, names, and amounts. Any script works, and files never leave your device.

When it comes in handy
For example, it helps when you need to overwrite a date like '2025-01-01' in place on a PDF contract with '2025-02-01'.

Rather than re-editing the original characters, it overlays new text or covers a spot with a mask. Click to place and drag to position it.

Are files uploaded to a server?+
No. It runs inside your browser, so the document never leaves your device.
Does it re-edit the original text?+
No. It overlays text on top or covers a spot with a mask. To edit with formatting intact, use the editing in the Word or Hangul viewer.
What happens to a covered spot?+
The selected area is covered with a mask so it isn't visible on screen.
