Fix or delete text in a PDF. By default it covers the wrong part with a box and places new text on top; turn on 'true delete' and that page is flattened to an image, actually removing the original text (no longer copyable or searchable) — that page just can't have its text selected anymore. Great for correcting dates, names, and amounts. Any script works, and files never leave your device.

Fix or remove a date, a name, or an amount right on the PDF. By default the original text is covered with a box and new text placed on top; turn on 'Remove completely' and the page is rasterized so the original characters are actually gone. How to use it
- 1Select or drop the PDF.
- 2Click where the change goes to place a box and type the new text. To only remove text, leave the box empty. Drag to move, use the corners to resize.
- 3Turn on 'Remove completely' if needed, click Save, and download the new PDF.
When it comes in handy
A contract date, a quote amount, or a contact name in a document where only the PDF survives and a few characters must change.

Covering vs. removing completely
The default places an opaque box over the original. It looks removed, but the original text is still in the PDF and can be extracted by copy-paste or an editor. That is fine for corrections that don't need to be hidden, such as a date.
For personal data, turn on 'Remove completely'. The page is redrawn as an image so the original characters are actually deleted. The trade-off: that page can no longer be searched or selected, and the file may grow. Turn it on only for pages that contain sensitive data.
Matching the look
New text uses the tool's own font, so it won't be an exact match. Keeping the size close to the original and fitting the box tightly over the old text makes it blend in. Latin, Korean, and numerals all work without setup.
If you need to rewrite whole paragraphs, converting with PDF to Word and editing there is the better route.
