Insert pages from another PDF into a base PDF. Every page of both documents is laid out as thumbnails on one timeline; drag pages where you want them, remove the ones you don't need, and save as one PDF. Pages are not re-rendered, so quality is unchanged, and everything runs in your browser.
How to use it
- 1Upload the base PDF and the PDF to insert. Pages of both appear as thumbnails.
- 2Drag the pages to insert into place and remove unneeded ones with ✕. 'Original order' resets the timeline.
- 3Click Save and download the combined PDF.
When it comes in handy
Slot an annex into the middle of a contract, put a new cover in front of a report, or add an appendix at the end. Re-scanning a page that was missed and dropping it back into place is another common job.
The Merge tool joins whole files end to end; this tool lets you decide the position page by page.
Working on the timeline
Pages from the two documents are colour-coded on one strip. You can place one inserted page after page 3 and another after page 9, and move or remove pages of the base document too.
If something goes wrong, press 'Original order' and start again. Nothing is final until you save.
Quality and limits
Pages are moved as-is, so text, images, and search match the original. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first, and if the two documents have different page sizes, the result will contain mixed sizes (that's fine for printing).
To combine three or more documents, save the first two and upload the result as the new base.
